I personally feel that heritage should be documented on a large scale and should be available to common people on their finger tips. I am on the mission to document our 'Heritage in 3D'. I document monuments, sculptures, coins, bronze idols, heritage sites, inscriptions, etc. Here are a few examples of my 3D documentation work.
This is a huge sculpture of Bhuvarah from Gujari Mahal museum of Gwalior Fort. this Varah is huge in size. the myth is connected to this sculpture. It was found in the Dashavatara temples site in Badoh, in Madhya Pradesh.
This is a small bronze idol of Lakshmi, the wife of Vishnu. This bronze is from the personal collection of Ashutosh. These bronzes are rare and were worshipped in houses. This bronze is from the medieval period.
This is a stepwell in a premise of Bhuleshwar Temple which was built around 1230 A.D. by the Yadava ruler King Krishnadevraya. this stepwell is beautiful and has some sculptures and inscriptions on the wall.
This minor rock edict is engraved in Saru-Maru monastic complex (the rock shelter) by Ashoka. The edict shows Ashoka's belief in Dhamma and Sangha and use of inscription on rock as a way for propagating Dhamma. The remains of Stupa and other related structure of third century BC were also excavated from these rock shelters.
